Santa Barbara Villa & Vine Micro Wedding

CHANNING & ARMANDO

Channing & Armando definitely showed me how they bring the energy to the table! I had the privilege of capturing their intimate wedding day at three different locations around the historic downtown Santa Barbara. I would describe Channing as charismatic and caring and Armando as laid back and compassionate. Together they are witty and authentic, and the overall life of the party; creating a beautiful atmosphere for everyone around them.

All three locations were located in the heart of downtown Santa Barbara. We started the day at the Santa Barbara Courthouse, in the Sunken Garden, always a classic location for weddings and elopements. We then transitioned to shooting in front of the Arlington Theater which was across the street from the venue. The couple had their names on the lower marquee of the theater, a super nice touch for a cool photo-op! Lastly, the ceremony and reception was at Villa and Vine; An intimate and luxurious private event venue that doubles as a coffee shop by morning (as) Caje Coffee Roaster (my favorite - and arguably the best coffee shop in Santa Barbara as (a coffee lover myself).

One of my favorite moments was when I was able to get the couple into a secluded area of the courthouse for their intimate “first look” of each other before the big ceremony. Armando stood at the top of the stairs, while Channing was at the bottom. I was able to capture Channing’s perspective in this moment. As soon as they took the first glance at each other they broke out in tears. There was a ton of intense emotion as you can see in the photos; a truly beautiful experience.
